Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November of 1985 in Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix displayed a knack in athletics from the beginning, and soon discovered her ability to sprint when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships after only 10 weeks after her first attempt. Felix agreed to sign a contract with Adidas for a career in professional sports with Adidas in 2003, and then enrolled at University of Southern California to study elementary education. Her first Olympic medal came during the 2004 Summer Olympics held which took place in Athens Greece. Felix set an international junior record running 200m in 22.18 seconds. In 2005, she was the youngest 200-meter world champion during the Helsinki World Championships. She won the title again in 2007 beating her former Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix competed in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and was consistently within the top three athletes in her respective events.
