Gugulethu Mbatha (better known by the name Gugu-Mbatha Raw) is an British actor and film actress known for her role in the film industry for her role in the BBC series "Doctor Who", the British Sci-Fi TV series. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all broadcast her stand-up shows. In 2010, she was confirmed for the role of host at 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.
